Our Mission: Simplifying Everyday Calculations

Calculating the exact duration between two important life events, counting down to competitive exams, or calculating your precise age for government job applications shouldn’t be complicated.

Our flagship Days Calculator suite was built from the ground up to provide instant, mathematically verified answers directly inside your web browser.

Key Features of Our Days Calculator Suite:

  1. Date Difference & Age Calculator: Calculate exact intervals in years, months, and days, along with detailed breakdowns of total days, total weeks, total hours, and total minutes. Includes an optional toggle to include the end day for employment and legal tenure calculations.
  2. Add or Subtract Days Calculator: Easily add or subtract any number of days, weeks, months, or years to or from any base date to determine milestone dates and deadlines.
  3. Event Countdown & Counter: Set live, real-time ticking countdowns for birthdays, anniversaries, festivals, and deadlines, or track days passed since an event occurred.
  4. Leap Year Checker: Quickly verify whether any Gregorian calendar year is a leap year with 29 days in February.

Mathematical Precision & Leap Year Accuracy

A major problem with many basic online date calculators is their inability to handle calendar edge cases correctly. Standard challenges such as February leap years (28 vs. 29 days) and varying month lengths (28, 29, 30, and 31 days) frequently produce off-by-one errors in simpler scripts.

Our Days Calculator implements custom calendar logic that strictly adheres to the Gregorian calendar rules:

  • Leap Year Verification: Accurately follows the standard 4-year, 100-year, and 400-year leap rules.
  • Calendar Borrowing Logic: Utilizes exact month-length borrowing during age calculations, matching the standards used by banking, legal, and government administration systems.
  • Month-End Overflow Correction: Adding one month to January 31 correctly pins the result to February 28 (or February 29 in a leap year), rather than incorrectly rolling over into March.

At CG Latest, user privacy is one of our highest priorities. All calculations performed using our Days Calculator run 100% locally on your device within your web browser using JavaScript.
